Standing Trees – Protecting Roadless Areas in New England

We created a visual journey to show the importance of New England’s “Roadless Areas” and inspire people to protect them before they’re cut again for short-term profit. The 2001 Roadless Rule, which protected many of these de facto wilderness areas, is under attack, and this StoryMap is helping to garner support for pushing back against unwise logging and road building.
